Cooking in Teams
in a Commercial Teaching Kitchen
Cooking in Teams is Culinary Team Building
Your team will quickly adjust to our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, and be submerged in a truly unique cooking experience facilitated by our professionally trained Chef and students. They will leave having created and tasted a culinary delight designed and executed by themselves. More importantly, they will have shared a fun experience that may impact their future success.
Get ready. Get set. Cook!
Working in teams, participants prepare, enjoy and celebrate a serious multi-course gourmet meal. The final outcome is the realization of the task accomplished: The conception, creation, and production of an exquisite 5 course gourmet banquet in an extremely limited amount of time. This achievement, followed by the enjoyment of sharing a fine meal together, is a powerful metaphor to share with your team and to bring back to your work place.
Cooking in Teams Program
Upon arrival your group will be divided into teams and assigned a student learner.
Bite size appetizers will be served and your teams will learn about the school and their students. Safety and sanitation guidelines are explained along with the goals of the program.
Cooking utensils and set up are brought to each group and cooking is begun with the help of the student helpers. The chef oversees the entire operation and ensures that each menu item is being properly executed through instruction and demonstration.
Following meal preparation teams will be seated in the Orchid Dining Room and the banquet will be presented with light music playing. Participants have the opportunity to socialize and discuss their teamwork while enjoying a great meal they have just prepared.
The Session will come to an end as clients have a chance to pick MVP’s from each team, applaud each one, and say thank you.
