The build went off without a hitch, the teams were really into the competition not knowing that the kids would be showing up later in the day. Once the kids arrived, it was just awesome and our folks loved it.
I was able to connect and form bonds with people on my team that I would not normally encounter on a daily basis and I believe that was the point of the whole exercise – to create bonds where there may not have been any, resulting in a stronger, more cohesive company.
